Your lanai is outdoors: humid air, breezes and heat. We build for that. What we won’t do is put a fireplace where rain can reach it.

How much does an outdoor electric fireplace cost?
Custom builds start at $3,995. Lanai walls usually run higher because of their size, the stone and the outdoor-rated fireplace, and you get a clear, itemized quote after a free consultation. Financing is available, including 18 months no interest — see monthly payments.
Can an electric fireplace go outside in Florida?
Yes, on a covered lanai. We build with fireplaces that the manufacturer rates for outdoor use in covered spaces, set under a solid roof and protected from direct rain and spray.
Can you build a fireplace on an open-air patio?
No. Electric fireplaces aren’t made to take direct rain, sprinklers or pool splash, and we won’t build one where it will get wet. If a spot isn’t right, we’ll tell you and help you find one on the lanai that is.
Does a screened lanai count as covered?
Yes, as long as the fireplace sits under the solid roof and back from where rain blows in. Screens alone don’t stop rain, so placement matters, and we plan it with you on site.
Do outdoor electric fireplaces give off heat?
It depends on the model. Some outdoor-rated fireplaces are flame-only, which suits Florida evenings, and others include a heater. We’ll help you pick the right one for your lanai.
Can you put a TV above an outdoor fireplace?
Yes. Most of our lanai walls include a TV, with the wiring, mantel and lighting planned into the stone so everything looks built-in.
